Job summary

Transamerica is seeking an Actuary to join the Model Development and First Line Validation team. You will develop AXIS models for Life, Health and Annuity spaces, support US GAAP calculations, and help ensure strong model controls.

You will collaborate with risk teams and business units, lead testing plans, and oversee replication and technical reviews. A hybrid in-office model is required at a Denver hub, with relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• FSA or ASA designation; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of designation.
• Proven leadership and ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Strong prioritization and time-management skills.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop modeling best practices and AXIS framework across Life, Health, and Annuity.
• Support US GAAP calculations and baselining in AXIS models.
• Partner with risk teams to plan testing for model changes.
• Lead replication, reviews, and on-top technical assessments.
• Drive special projects including AI adoption to improve workflows.
