National Interstate Insurance Company seeks an Actuarial Intern for Summer 2027 in Richfield, Ohio. The role offers hands-on exposure to pricing, reserving analytics, and actuarial software within a collaborative team.

You will build Excel and programming skills while learning company operations and actuarial methodologies. This is a part-time internship designed for current students pursuing Actuarial Science or related fields.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Anticipated graduation date Fall/Winter 2027 to Spring 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn actuarial techniques and procedures as part of the internship.
• Become familiar with company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies.
• Assist with updating data in pricing and reserving analyses.
• Become familiar with basic statistical techniques.
• Improve Excel skills and gain exposure to programming and actuarial software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
