CNO Financial Group is offering an Actuarial Intern position to work with experienced actuaries across Life, Health and Annuity spaces. The internship emphasizes simplifying valuation calculations, utilizing actuarial software, and documenting technical work.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related discipline.
• Status as a rising junior or rising senior with graduation dates Dec 2027–Jun 2029.
• At least one actuarial exam passed toward SOA designation.
• Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10–12 weeks in the summer.
• Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone preferred or willing to work Central/Eastern hours.

Responsibilities

• Simplify and standardize valuation calculations.
• Work with actuarial software packages.
• Provide clear documentation and communication of technical work.
• Improve actuarial projections for pricing and valuation.
