Markel Corporation invites college juniors to join its Actuarial internship program for 2027. You will gain hands-on exposure to pricing, reserving, and actuarial operations while collaborating with experienced actuaries to drive meaningful projects.

Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills, with preparation in Actuarial Science or related fields and a GPA of 3.5+. US work authorization is required and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• College juniors graduating in May 2028 or recently graduated.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Majoring in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proven leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Proficient in data tools and technology.
• US Work Authorization required; Markel does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
