Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time degree in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science with at least one semester remaining.
• Strong customer service mindset and excellent communication.
• Actuarial exam passed (at least one).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the annual actuarial reconciliation process of System data.
• Draft information, charts, and graphs for the Actuarial and Statistical sections of the System’s Annual Financial Report.
• Work with outside auditors and System accountants to prepare the System’s Annual Financial Report.
• Prepare actuarial annuity values and option factors in accordance with statue, including the computation of option factors for alternative options and domestic relation orders.
• Prepare actuarial information of the July board meeting.
