Qualifications

• Actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related major.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• Knowledge of statistics and probability.
• Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Paid internship working in EMC’s corporate actuarial team.
• Collaborates with Actuarial Operations/Predictive Analytics teams on projects.
• Performs basic analysis for Actuarial Operations/Predictive Analytics teams.
• Gathers information for analysis.
• Organizes data into spreadsheets and databases.
• Communicates results of analysis, project updates, and key findings to actuarial leaders.
• Develops understanding of insurance operations, statistical analysis, data management and computer programming.
