• Actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related major.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• Strong analytical, investigation, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power BI preferred; familiarity with R, SAS, SQL & Python preferred.

Location

• This position is eligible to work a hybrid (3 days in office per week) schedule from the Des Moines metro

Essential Functions

• Paid internship working in EMC’s corporate actuarial team
• Collaborates with Actuarial Operations/Predictive Analytics team on projects
• Performs basic analysis for Actuarial Operations/Predictive Analytics teams
• Gathers information for analysis
• Organizes data into spreadsheets and databases

Education & Experience

• Actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related major
• Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
