You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. while tackling meaningful challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and investigate actuarial questions and problems.
  2. Explain and interpret trends in healthcare utilization and costs.
  3. Support efforts to identify opportunities to lower healthcare costs for members.
  4. Communicate results and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Work with detailed claim and membership data from various sources, such as STRATUS.
  6. Create and maintain actuarial models and reports.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of actuarial work experience.
  • Experience in healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 or more exams towards or achieved Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Basic proficiency in coding languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The salary range is $89,800 to $176,700 annually, depending on factors like location, education, experience, and certifications. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, among others.
