Job summary

The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking an Actuarial Associate for its ALDP. This role will rotate across pricing, product, and analytics, performing financial and non-financial analyses to support growth and profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a mathematics-based field.
Regularly taking actuarial exams toward Fellow designation (SOA).
Minimum of two years of actuarial work experience.
Proficient in MS Excel as well as actuarial modeling and data visualization software.
Ability to communicate pricing analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to contribute to multiple projects with multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to synthesize sophisticated information.

Responsibilities

Perform rate development and state rate filings to support Group Finance Strategy.
Provide actuarial support for product, underwriting, finance, and distribution initiatives.
Recommend and apply advanced techniques to modernize pricing approaches and improve accuracy.
