Job summary

Society Insurance in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking an Actuarial Associate II to join our actuarial team. You will analyze data, support ratemaking, reserving, and modeling, and collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and leadership to drive business decisions.

The role requires a math/statistics/economics degree and actuarial exams, with 2 years of actuarial experience (or 5 years total). A strong Excel and database skillset is essential, with 5+ years in P/C insurance desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, or related field and 2 years of actuarial work experience (OR) 5 years of actuarial work experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Database.
Completion of at least four actuarial exams.
Highly motivated and ability to work independently.
5+ years of experience in property/casualty insurance highly desirable

Responsibilities

Utilizes and verifies data to prepare ratemaking, reserving, and modeling analysis.
Develops data and reports for special projects.
Maintains, enhances, and develops templates for ratemaking, reserving, and modeling.
Maintains documentation of ratemaking, reserving, and modeling methods and activities.
Provides analysis of ratemaking, reserving, modeling, and special projects.
