Society Insurance is seeking an Actuarial Associate II to join our Actuarial department. You will work with data, pricing, reserving, and risk analysis while collaborating with underwriting, claims, finance, and leadership to support long-term success.

The role offers flexible remote/hybrid scheduling with occasional in-person meetings at the Fond du Lac home office. Ideal candidates hold a math/stat/econ degree, have completed actuarial exams, and possess strong Excel/database skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, or related field.
• 2 years actuarial work experience or 5 years actuarial work experience.
• Completion of at least four actuarial exams.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and databases.
• 5+ years of property/casualty insurance experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes data to prepare ratemaking, reserving, and modeling analysis.
• Develops data and reports for special projects.
• Maintains and enhances templates for ratemaking, reserving, modeling.
• Documents methods and activities clearly.
• Provides analysis of ratemaking, reserving, modeling, and projects.
• Passes one CAS exam per year unless Associateship achieved.
