Job summary

Verisk is seeking an Actuarial Associate in Jersey City, NJ to contribute pricing knowledge for non-admitted E&S property lines. You will join a growing actuarial team and help develop innovative product solutions to price and manage non-admitted risks in the property market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related major.
• At least 4–6 years of actuarial experience with a focus on E&S property pricing.
• ACAS preferred; Exam 5 required.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative actuarial solutions for complex risks that don’t fit traditional markets.
• Synthesize data from disparate sources typical of E&S property space.
• Support buildout of data intake for contributory E&S premium, loss, and exposure data.
• Analyze data to develop property analytics and pricing solutions for E&S customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions end-to-end.
• Own workstreams from problem definition to delivery of client solutions.
