Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Actuarial Associate Director (Remote) to lead actuarial modeling and analytics for Medicare and value-based care initiatives. You will translate revenue, claims, and performance data into insights for senior leadership and collaborate with provider organizations to inform risk and strategy.

You will mentor junior analysts and contribute to thought leadership across healthcare payment and delivery programs, while operating in a remote US-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years actuarial experience with healthcare analytics and modeling.
  • 3+ years working with large healthcare claims datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain actuarial models for Medicare ACO lines of business.
  • Analyze revenue and claim data from multiple sources for senior leadership.
  • Serve as a resource for risk-taking provider organizations.
  • Communicate business performance results and strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in value-based care programs.
  • Mentor and review the work of 1-2 analyst team members.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Actuarial Associate Director - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

In this role, you will lead actuarial modeling and analytics efforts that support Medicare and value-based care initiatives. You will translate revenue, claims, and performance data into clear business insights for senior leadership and partner closely with provider organizations to inform risk and strategic decision-making. This position also includes mentoring junior analysts and helping advance thought leadership across the organization's healthcare payment and delivery programs.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,700 – $193,200 annually

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain actuarial models for Medicare accountable care organization lines of business
  • Analyze revenue and claim data from multiple sources for senior leadership
  • Serve as a resource for risk-taking provider organizations
  • Communicate business performance results and strategic recommendations
  • Contribute to thought leadership in value-based care programs
  • Mentor and review the work of 1-2 analyst team members
