Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking an Actuarial Assistant for its Development Program in a hybrid role based in Houston, Jersey City, or Woodland Hills. You will rotate through actuarial departments to gain experience in valuation, product development, ALM, and experience analysis.

The program emphasizes building technical skills in statistics, finance, and risk, while supporting the journey toward SOA credentials. Compensation reflects location and experience with a discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative field.
• Completion of one or more SOA exams.
• Prior internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your academic skill set and collaborate with others in driving business and actuarial solutions.
• Understand how insurance products are designed and implemented to meet customer needs.
• Analyze business results and help ensure commitments to policyholders are met.
• Understand different types of risk and how to mitigate them.
• Work with a team of associates to drive best results for Corebridge Financial.
• Simplify complex processes and analyses into clear explanations.
• Progress in the Society of Actuaries examination process.
