Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a quantitative field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• At least one actuarial internship or relevant analytics experience.
• Completion of two or more actuarial exams.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, and AI-enabled analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical claims, membership, pricing, and underwriting data to identify trends.
• Develop actuarial models and pricing assumptions.
• Evaluate provider network discounts and PPO factors for rating.
• Support underwriting and reinsurance decision-making with findings.
• Present analyses to actuarial and business partners.
• Take increasing ownership with mentorship.
