Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX, seeks an Actuarial Analyst to develop, maintain, and run complex actuarial models for product development and valuation. You will prepare reports and support non-actuarial teams while pursuing ASA/FSA as part of the Actuarial Development Program.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong math skills, and proficiency with SQL Server/Access as preferred database tools. Onsite four days per week with core days Mon–Thu.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of life insurance and/or annuity products.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update actuarial models for product development or valuation.
• Prepare or assist in preparing reports and documentation of work product.
• Identify and elevate best practices and process improvements in work product.
• Solve complex problems as they arise.
• Provide support to non-actuarial areas as needed.
