Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States is seeking an Actuarial Analyst with 3+ years of actuarial experience. The role focuses on P&C insurance, state filings, reserving, and modelling, with CAS exam progress favored.

You will analyze data, build rate indications, and support DOI submissions for personal lines. Strong technical skills in Python/SQL and data visualization are required to translate business problems into actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and 2–5 years of related actuarial experience, CAS exams preferred.
Must have P&C insurance experience and state filing (DOI) experience preferred.
Demonstrated competency with actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques.
Proficient in data analysis, querying, and using Python/SQL for analyses.

Responsibilities

Develop rates, trend analyses, and rate revisions for state filing processes in personal lines.
Coordinate with Lead Actuary to respond to DOI objections and obtain sign-off.
Apply complex actuarial methods to unstructured projects independently.
Ensure data quality for trend analyses and translate business problems into technical requirements.
Identify and monitor risks in line with risk and compliance policies.
