Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
• Progress in understanding and applying basic actuarial principles.
• Completion of at least 3 CAS exams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other applications.
• Active listening and clear communication in professional settings.

Responsibilities

• Applies actuarial principles to analyze company and industry data.
• Prepares summaries of analyses for management, departments, consultants, reinsurers and regulators.
• Completes processes to perform and document actuarial analyses accurately.
• Assists less experienced analysts with data tasks and tools.
• Supports CAS exam progression through on-the-job study.
• Interacts with Actuarial Operations personnel across departments.
