Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 extra years of relevant work experience if no degree.
• Knowledge of calculus, statistics, and probability to assess likelihoods and risks.
• Ability to use models and tables to evaluate large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes actuarial and operational data for analyses such as rate filings, forecasts, IBNR, trend and provider contracts.
• Prepares accurate reports related to internal analysis or external regulatory needs.
• Participates in special studies and ad hoc analyses to support departmental objectives.
• Makes recommendations based on actuarial assumptions and presents results professionally to stakeholders.
