Milliman, Inc. is seeking an Actuarial Analyst for the Atlantic Region P&C practice based in Boston, MA or Burlington, VT. You will work with project teams to perform analyses, manipulate data in Excel, and contribute to modeling efforts across pricing, reserving, and risk management.

The role supports pursuing CAS credentials and offers time and monetary resources for exam advancement, with hybrid in-person collaboration and potential travel for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed and pursuing CAS Associate credential.
• Up to two years of professional actuarial full-time work experience in pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, capital modeling, enterprise risk management, and/or reinsurance-related topics.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with quantitative coursework in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, etc.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with actuarial tools such as @Risk, VBA, Python, SAS, STATA.

Responsibilities

• Execute key analyses for ongoing actuarial projects, delivering high-quality analytical work.
• Manipulate and summarize complex data in Excel; participate in programming, statistics, and database tasks.
• Collaborate with project members and communicate results and recommendations clearly.
