Job description

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join a highly respected organization within the Property & Casualty insurance industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex analytical projects, develop technical expertise, and contribute to strategic business decisions alongside experienced actuarial and business leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Perform actuarial analyses, modeling, and data interpretation using R, Excel, and other analytical tools
  • Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations that support business strategy and decision-making
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders, nd other business teams on key initiatives
  • Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders across the organization
  • Support the development, validation, and enhancement of actuarial methodologies and models
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen analytical capabilities
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, quality control, and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives that support business objectives

What You'll Bring

  • 2–5 years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience
  • Progress toward CAS credentials, typically 3–6 exams completed
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and R
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Python, VBA, SAS, STATA, or similar analytical tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with databases, reporting tools, and data management concepts
