Job summary

The Actuarial Analyst at Firma de Reclutamiento en PR will support actuarial evaluation and monitoring of the insurance portfolio by analyzing reserves, pricing, profitability, and reinsurance results. You will apply actuarial, statistical, and financial principles to inform decisions, product development, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of actuarial experience within the insurance industry (Life, Disability, Annuities, Property & Casualty), or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and SOA/CAS exam progress.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling insurance portfolio data and actuarial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with RiskAgility FM, ResQ, R, or comparable actuarial software preferred.
  • Progress toward SOA or CAS professional credentials (completion of actuarial exams preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Position Summary

The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for supporting the actuarial evaluation and monitoring of the Company's insurance portfolio by analyzing technical performance, reserves, pricing, profitability, and reinsurance results. This role applies actuarial, statistical, and financial principles to support business decisions, product development, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
