RaceTrac is seeking an Actualization Analyst to ensure precise recording of inventory movements and timely RIN transactions. You will work closely with inventory and scheduling teams and interact with traders and Metroplex colleagues to resolve discrepancies and complete month-end processes.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, 0–3 years accounting experience (fuel experience preferred), strong US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.
Job Description: The Actualization Analyst role serves an essential role within our business, working closely with the inventory and scheduling teams to ensure inventory movements are recorded timely and accurately. The Actualization Analyst should possess analytical skills that allow them to apply knowledge and work experience to the role’s responsibilities. This role is accountable for the timely and accurate actualization of inventory, transacting of RINs, as well as frequent interaction with schedulers, traders, and other members of the Metroplex team.
Accountable for the accurate and timely completion of activities daily: Actualization of inventory volumes Actualization and transacting of RINs. Liaise with the scheduling and inventory teams should any discrepancies occur; provide thorough explanations and seek resolutions to the discrepancies. Timely and accurately actualizing at month end. Ensure inventory transactions are reflected accurately and timely in the system for the inventory team to reconcile and the billing team to invoice/pay. Work independently with general supervision and can communicate and work through difficult problems. Assists in developing solutions to financial and operational processes for inventory functions, policies, and procedures. Carries out ad hoc reports/assignments as needed. Assist with investigation and resolution to CTRM system issues. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external counterparties. Assists in the development and maintenance of department wide plans, goals, and deadlines.
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with a concentration in finance, accounting, or related field of study 0-3 years accounting experience; preferably fuel experience Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
