Job summary

River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, seeks a PT Activity Therapist to plan and conduct group and individual recreation therapy for patients. The role coordinates scheduling and programming and provides AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients of all ages.

The position is based at River Point Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, FL, within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A four year degree in Recreation or related field preferred.
• Preferably certified through National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or meets requirements to be certified.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts varied group and individual recreation therapy for all patients.
• Helps coordinate scheduling and programming.
• Provides groups and AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients all ages.

Education

Bachelors in Recreation or related field

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) preferred
