Job summary

River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a PRN Activity Therapist to plan and conduct recreation therapy for behavioral health inpatients of all ages. The role involves coordinating scheduling and programming and performing assessments.

The position requires a four-year degree in Recreation or related field; CTRS preferred and experience with arts/music/yoga therapy is a plus.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Recreation or related field required.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) preferred or must meet requirements to be certified.
• Preference for Art Therapist, Yoga Instructor or Music Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts varied group and individual recreation therapy for all patients.
• Helps coordinate scheduling and programming for activities.
• Provides groups and AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients of all ages.
