Bethany St. Joseph Corporation in La Crosse seeks an Activity Room Aide to support resident recreation programs. This role includes setup, transporting residents, conducting activities, and off-site events as needed.

The position requires a mature, reliable individual who can work independently or in a team; part-time schedule with one evening per week and two Saturday shifts monthly. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Studying Recreation Therapy or LTC experience preferred.
• Able to assist with activities and resident transport.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute recreation programs for residents; set up, transport, conduct, and break down activities.
• Provide materials for residents to maintain cognitive and physical abilities.
• Maintain a clean, safe activity environment and document attendance.

We’re looking for an Activity Room Aide for our La Crosse location.This position works 24hrs/pay period (12hrs/week). Must be available to work one evening per week (6-8pm) and 2 Saturday shifts per month (1pm-5pm)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute recreation programs for all residents, in large, small, or individual settings. This includes set up, transporting residents to and from activity, conducing the activity, and break down of activity. This may also include off site activities.Provide projects and materials for all residents to maintain cognitive, physical strength in large, small and individual settings.Maintain verbal and written communication with all departments as needed in the best interest of the residents, while maintaining resident confidentiality.
