Job summary

Charter Senior Living of Woodbridge is seeking an Activity Planning Assistant/Life Enrichment Assistant with assisted living experience to support daily social and therapeutic programs for residents. You will help plan and implement activities, transport residents to events, and assist on weekends and holidays as needed.

The role emphasizes compassion, respect for residents' life stories, and a team-oriented work environment where associates are encouraged to grow and contribute ideas.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
• Ability to transport residents to activities and assist with daily programs.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Coordinator with daily activity planning and implementation.
• Help transport residents to activities in-building and on outings.
• Maintain activity calendar and ensure programs meet residents' needs and safety standards.
• Be flexible and able to work with minimal supervision whileproblem solving.

Activity Planning Assistant/ Life Enrichment Assistant POSITION SUMMARY:

The Life Enrichment Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator with the planning and implementation of the day to day social, educational, recreational, spiritual, and therapeutic individual and group activities as listed on the activity calendar. Aid transport residents to activities in the building and on van outings. Other: Willing to work shift assigned, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; problem solving, conflict management, budgeting.
