Qualifications

• High school graduate and state-required Activity Director certification.
• Excellent creativity and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to document detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing resident care plans.
• Ability to develop and execute activity programs that meet social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within budget.

Responsibilities

• Document activity programs and participation toward care plan goals.
• Conduct resident activity histories and assessments per state/federal standards.
• Publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and periodic facility newsletters for residents and families.
• Build and maintain an active and effective volunteer program.
