Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Katy, Texas, invites skilled Activity Directors to join our team and deliver engaging, person-centered programs that enhance residents' daily lives.

You will document activities, assess resident needs, coordinate monthly calendars and newsletters, and recruit volunteers, while ensuring regulatory compliance and budget alignment. A state-certified Activity Director with strong creativity and communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and Activity Director certification as required by state regulations.
• Creative and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing resident care plans.
• Ability to develop, organize, and execute activity programs within a specified budget.

Responsibilities

• Document Activity Programs: Maintain detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
• Conduct Resident Assessments: Perform resident activity histories and assessments in compliance with state and federal standards.
• Coordinate Communication: Publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and periodic facility newsletters to keep residents and families informed.
• Build Volunteer Engagement: Develop and maintain an active and effective volunteer program to support activities.
