Avir Vista in McAllen, TX seeks an Activities Assistant to support resident engagement and quality of life. You will help plan and coordinate daily activities, tailoring programs to resident interests and abilities while collaborating with care teams.

Competenze

• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Qualifying criteria: therapeutic recreation specialist/activities professional OR two years relevant experience (incl. 1 year in health care) OR OT/OTA OR completed Activity Director training.

Avir Vista is looking for an Activities Assistant to join our family!

We are searching for an Activities Assistant who is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The Activities Assistant will assist in the coordination of the Activities within the facility; including andconsidering all resident's needs, interests, and abilities.

Qualifications for Activities Assistant:

• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• To qualify, an Activity Director must meet at least one of these criteria: be qualified as a therapeutic recreation specialist/activities professional, have two years of relevant experience (including one year in a health care setting), be a qualified OT/OTA, or have completed an approved Activity Director training course
