Job summary

The Residence at Gramercy is seeking an Activity Director to lead engaging activities and events for residents in a senior living community. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend rotations, offering a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to impact residents’ daily lives.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of assisted living experience and a passion for enriching activities, with the ability to drive the community van for outings when needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and participate inengaging, hands-on activities, events, trips, and celebrations within theassisted livingsetting, encouraging resident involvement and highlighting individual talents.
• Create and distribute monthly calendars and newsletters; gather resident feedback through surveys; collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a well-rounded, meaningful daily program.
• Personally facilitate activities and outings -including scheduling transportation, driving the community van or bus, and assisting residents directly during trips and events.
• Engage with one-on-one residents daily, providing companionship, encouragement, and assistance during activities to foster connection and a sense of belonging.
• Support marketing efforts, buildcommunity relationships, and occasionally assist with tours and apartment rentals

What You’ll Need:
