Description

St. Michael’s Prep is seeking activity bus drivers to transport students to both local and out‑of‑town events. This is a part‑time non‑exempt hourly position. Upon hire, the candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs, Transportation and Asset Management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive students to both local and out‑of‑town events, including but not limited to athletic events, competitions, retreats, and academic field trips as needed.
• Routes will include trips to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, as well as various locations in and around Austin. Local trips will be a minimum of four (4) hours.
• The driver’s schedule will depend on the schedule of events, but is usually scheduled a minimum of two (2) weeks prior.

Requirements

• Valid CDL class B with P endorsement.
• At least one (1) verifiable year of experience operating a bus or comparable vehicle.
• At least 25 years old for insurance purposes and able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check (fingerprinting) and drug test.
