Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking an Activities Coordinator to assist in creating and running the Connections program for residents. You will help ensure resident leisure, health, and wellbeing while coordinating information across systems and teams.

The role requires a high school diploma with preferred higher education in social work, therapeutic recreation, psychology, gerontology, or related fields. CPR/First Aid, 21+ years old, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; preferred Bachelor's in related field.
• Experience in healthcare or service setting preferred.
• Must be 21+ with a valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of older adults.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Enter resident information in multiple systems.
• Attend care plan meetings with families and residents.
• Collect resident profiles.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the Connections activity program.
