General Purpose

Assist with individual and group recreational/social activities for residents as an integral part of total resident care. Facilitate meaningful and engaging social and recreational activities tailored to residents’ age groups. Supervise and protect residents during activities, ensuring safety regulations and policies are followed. Handle supplies and equipment responsibly.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or training in a long-term care setting is preferred
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly
• Must be at least 18 years old
