Essential Functions
- Comply with standards of business conduct in accordance with federal, state, and local health and regulatory standards and guidelines, as applicable.

- Be available for call back during emergency conditions if necessary.

Position Details
Title: Activity Assistant
Department: Activities and Programming
Reports To: Activity Director
Responsibilities
- Design creative activity programs tailored to residents' needs and interests, including a weekly activity calendar and one-on-one programming.
- Collaborate daily with the Activity Director to serve residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Monitor operations of the Memory Care Neighborhood, including resident ADLs, meals, cleanliness, activities, and documentation.
- Participate in delivering Memory Care Programming and assist with assessments and care planning.
- Communicate with families regarding resident activities.
- Assist in training staff for memory care and assisted living activities.
- Coordinate special events and manage volunteer programs and transportation for outings.
- Participate in resident move-in processes and maintain occupancy through tours and customer contact.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including emergency procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
- Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.
- Must be able to move intermittently, cope with stress, and relate to residents.
- Meet health requirements including a medical and physical examination.
- Lift a minimum of 25 pounds and assist in emergency evacuations as needed.
