Job summary

The Courtyards Senior Living is seeking an Activity Assistant to lead and participate in engaging activities and outings in assisted living and memory care settings, highlighting residents' talents and encouraging involvement.

You will schedule transportation, drive the community bus or van, and assist residents during trips and events while providing daily one-on-one companionship to foster belonging.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Confidence and comfort driving the community bus for resident outings.
• A naturally creative thinker who enjoys coming up with new ideas and experiences.
• Comfortability and familiarity working with memory care residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in engaging, hands-on activities, events, trips, and celebrations within assisted living and memory care settings, encouraging resident involvement and highlighting individual talents.
• Personally facilitate activities and outings - including scheduling transportation, driving the community van or bus, and assisting residents directly during trips and events.
