Community Springs Healthcare Facility (CSHCF) is a 105-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility providing transitional or long-term care. A 15-bed high-functioning memory care unit provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's or other memory issues.
A typical day will include: The opportunity to develop a relationship with our residents and dynamic co-workers. The Activity Assistant is an integral part of the healthcare team who is responsible for providing excellent care to the residents in the facility through fun and innovative activities. This position assists in a variety of duties as assigned by the Activity Director including leading group and individualized activities, inviting and assisting residents in appropriate activities, documenting resident’s activity progress every 90 days, and taking steps to ensure resident safety during activities. The activity assistant will complete an Activity Interest Survey within 14 days of resident admission. This is the most fun job you will ever have!
