Job summary

Elm Management is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activities Aide to plan and provide engaging activities for our residents. The Activities Aide will encourage resident participation, promote social interaction, and help create a positive and enjoyable environment.

Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and evening shifts. You will plan and lead recreational activities, encourage participation, assist with crafts, games, and events, support residents one-on-one when needed, prepare materials,

• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities
• Assist with arts and crafts, games, entertainment, group programs, and special events
• Provide one-on-one activities for residents who are unable to participate in group programs
• Help prepare and organize activity materials and the activity area
• Maintain a welcoming and engaging environment for residents
• Document resident participation and activities as required
• Work with the Activities Department and other staff to support residents' social and emotional well-being
