Job Summary:
Looking for a loving, caring person who wants to bring joy to our seniors. The Activity Assistant supports the planning and execution of engaging and meaningful activities for residents across all levels of care, including Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. This position plays a vital role in promoting resident well-being, social interaction, and a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, organizing, and leading group and one-on-one activities
• Encourage resident participation and help accommodate individual needs or limitations
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed
• Maintain records of resident participation
• Help decorate activity areas and maintain supply inventory
• Provide input on resident preferences and suggestions to improve programming
• Comply with safety and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with older adults preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and patience
• Must be available for some evening and weekend events
