Job summary

The Grand of Dublin, part of Optalis Healthcare, is seeking a Fulltime Activity Assistant to join our team in Dublin, OH. You will direct activities for ambulatory, non-ambulatory and bed-bound residents and help maintain care-plan progress while ensuring safety and engagement.

This role offers health, dental, vision and life insurance, generous PTO and same-day pay. Weekend and holiday availability is required to support residents and families in a caring, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities functions to ensure activities for ambulatory, non-ambulatory and bed-bound residents.
• Records activity programs and participation of individual residents and identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
• Follows written activities policies and procedures.
• Distribute monthly calendar of events and/or monthly newsletter.
• Assist with community trips/outings.
• Prepare room, equipment and supplies prior to each activity and clean up after the activity is completed.
• Encourage residents and families to participate in activities.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
