Job summary

Lions Rehab Center in Cumberland, MD seeks an Activity Assistant to plan and lead engaging programs for residents, track participation, and build strong connections with residents and families. You’ll energize activities and support a caring community in a dynamic setting.

You will collaborate with staff and volunteers, ensure safety and infection control, and assist in care-plan development. A high school diploma is required; full-time hours and flexible scheduling are offered.

The Role: Activity Assistant

As our newest team member, you'll be responsible for planning and leading group and one-on-one activities tailored to our residents' unique interests. You'll be the heartbeat of fun and engagement, tracking participation and progress, and building meaningful connections with residents, families, and staff. Your mission is to make every day extraordinary!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead group and one-on-one activities, including programs that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
• Welcome new residents and make them feel at home

Requirements:
