Activity Assistants are valuable members of our healthcare team who assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing appropriate activity programs, aligned with the facility's philosophy, objectives, and policies.

Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility located in Columbus, Indiana. We are seeking compassionate Activity Assistants to join our team, with a primary goal of providing exceptional care to our residents.

About the Role:

• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintain all records related to activities and complete paperwork promptly.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessments.
• Support the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively with residents, families, personnel, and support agencies.
• Capability to stand and bend for extended periods.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music, and group activities.
