Job Description: Activity Assistants are valuable members of our healthcare team who assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing appropriate activity programs, aligned with the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the facility.

About the Role:

• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintain all records related to activities and complete paperwork promptly.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessments.
• Support the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and support agencies.
• Capable of standing and bending for extended periods.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music, and group activities.
