Job summary

Euclid Beach Nursing & Rehab Center in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career and have experience working with individuals with dementia.

You will be responsible for leading and supporting engaging activities, providing one-to-one attention, and helping plan daily programming. A friendly, enthusiastic personality and a commitment to resident well-being are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with dementia is preferred.
• High School Graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and/or assists with activity groups and assignments.
• Provides input and assistance with activity planning.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs.
• Escorts residents to and from activities.
• Projects a positive image of the organization to residents, co-workers, public.
