Job summary

Gardant is seeking a Part-Time Activity Coordinator in Grove City, OH. The role supports residents through engaging activities, transportation, and program coordination, fostering a warm, compassionate environment aligned with the organization's values.

Responsibilities include conducting interviews to tailor activities, maintaining equipment inventories, planning newsletters, and collaborating with resident councils. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required to apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.
• Age 21 or older preferred with driving record in good standing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.50 hourly

Responsibilities

• Drives company van on organized outings, as needed
• Interviews residents upon admission to determine their likes and dislikes
• Documents the resident’s participation in activities daily
• Plans and maintains an inventory list of activity equipment and supplies
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of the resident’s activity program and, as necessary, modifies the program to meet the resident’s needs and interests
• Plans and coordinates the Community newsletter
• Coordinates with the resident council to ensure resident input into the activity program
• Coordinates resident shopping orders for those unable to shop independently
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
