Elevate Care in Illinois is seeking an Activity Aide / Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. You will plan and lead recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to support residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

You will foster participation, coordinate events, and work with families and staff to tailor activities to residents' interests. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and a positive attitude, with flexibility in scheduling.

Formación

• Experience in Activity Coordination or Life Enrichment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to plan, organize and lead engaging activities.
• Creative, compassionate approach to resident well-being.
• Team-oriented with a caring, patient demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Plan & Implement Activities - Organize and lead recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to meet residents' physical, social, and emotional needs.
• Encourage Resident Participation - Foster an inclusive environment where residents feel encouraged to participate and enjoy activities.
• Monitor & Document Progress - Track participation and responses to activities.
• Coordinate Special Events - Plan and facilitate events, holidays, and group outings.
• Work with Families & Team - Communicate with families and nursing staff to align activities with residents' interests and abilities.
• Promote Resident Independence - Encourage engagement to support independence and well-being.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan & Implement Activities - Organize and lead recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of residents.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in Activity Coordination or Life Enrichment (Preferred).
• Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to Organize & Plan Activities.
• Creative & Compassionate Approach to improving the lives of residents.
• Ability to Work Effectively with a Team.
