Seeking an Activities Aide to serve at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility located in Fosston. This employee works 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, an average of 32 hours weekly. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required. This position qualifies for full time benefits.

What You'll Do:

Assist director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing therapeutic recreation activity programs in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, to assure that the spiritual development, emotional, physical, recreational, and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of date of hire.
• Nursing home experience preferred but not required.
• Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification preferred but not required.
