Job summary

New Care, Inc. is seeking an energetic Activity Aide for a skilled nursing facility in Wisconsin. The role supports the Activity Director in planning and implementing individual and group activities for residents, with a focus on engaging the elderly in meaningful activities.

Full-time hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm; part-time options include Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00 am–4:30 pm or Tue/Thu 9:30 am–3:30 pm, with some weekends/holidays as needed. Rate of pay is $14.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
• Experience in long-term care is a plus

We are seeking applications for a full-time and/or part-time, energetic, Activity Aide for our skilled nursing facility to assist the Activity Director with planning and implementation of individual and group activities. If you enjoy spending time with the elderly and engaging them in purposeful activities, then this is a position for you. Applicants with previous experience in long-term care such as Certified Nurse Aides and Direct Support Professionals who are enthusiastic about interacting with the elderly will also be considered. Full-time hours would be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Part-time hours would be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm orTuesday and Thursday, six (6) hours/day, 9:30amto 3:30 pm. Some weekends and holidays if needed. Rate of pay is $14.00/hour.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
