Job summary

Deercreek Senior Living in Wisconsin seeks an Activities Assistant to help design daily and monthly calendars that honor resident individuality and encourage participation. You will work with residents across all care levels to create meaningful, engaging experiences in a compassionate community.

You will lead activities, assist with administrative tasks, and support transportation for outings, fostering pride and collaboration among residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to plan and coordinate activities for diverse care levels.
• Strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Activities Director to create and update daily/monthly activity calendars.
• Lead and facilitate activities, encouraging resident participation.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as posting calendars and sign-up sheets.
• Plan, implement, and promote activities aligned with residents’ interests across care levels.
• Coordinate transportation for community outings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Activities Director to create a daily and monthly calendar that meets all care levels and encourages resident individuality, participation, and leadership.
• Lead and facilitate activities, encouraging resident participation and providing a motivating environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as posting daily calendars, maintaining resident sign‑up sheets, and ordering supplies.
• Plan, implement, and promote activities to align with residents’ interests across all levels of care.
• Encourage resident participation in community projects and outings, including transportation to functions when needed.
• Support residents who lead activities, fostering pride and teamwork.
