Job summary

AristaCare in the United States seeks an Activity Aide to support recreation, social and therapeutic programs for residents. You will assist with planning, implementing and evaluating activities, observing progress and aligning with care plans under supervision.

The role is part-time, every other weekend 8AM-4PM. Candidates should have at least 1 year of recreation experience in a geriatric or healthcare setting, LTC or Memory Care exposure is a plus, and a positive, energetic attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Memory Care is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-centered approach.

TheActivity Aide helps to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs of the facility. Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
